Atari 800XL

Keyboard input

Always type sends letters, arrows and Space to the computer. Use it for names, answers and menus.

Playing together

Player 1 uses arrows + Space. Player 2 uses WASD + F. Choose two players inside the game too.

Use a phone with the “Use phone as joystick” control beside the computer.

Keyboard shortcuts

These bindings apply in games. In other programs, arrows move the Atari cursor. Hold two arrows for diagonals, or use the number pad: 7 ↖ · 8 ↑ · 9 ↗ · 4 ← · 6 → · 1 ↙ · 2 ↓ · 3 ↘. Space or numpad 0 fires. Click a binding below to change it.

Connect a gamepad, then press any button.

Light gun

Barnyard Blaster and Crime Buster enable the gun automatically. Aim along the barrel and click to shoot; there is no crosshair. Focus the screen to aim with arrow keys and fire with Space.
